The University of Strathclyde is Glasgow’s second-oldest university, and is recognised for its engineering, business and science programs. Strathclyde University is just over a 30-minute walk away from our student housing and is easily reachable by bus.
Glasgow Caledonian University
Glasgow Caledonian University is located just north of Glasgow city centre. It’s considered as one of the more modern universities in the city and is recognised for its focus on health, engineering, business and social science courses. Like the University of Strathclyde, it’s around a 30-minute walk from our Clifton & Stewart House student accommodation.

Booking your Glasgow student accommodation with Capitol Students
Securing your preferred accommodation is both fast and straightforward, exclusively available via our website. Please follow the instructions outlined below to complete your room booking.
- Browse accommodation options for your chosen location
- Review room details and what’s included
- Select the number of weeks you’d like to reserve the room for
- Select ‘proceed to booking’
- Create an account with Capitol Students or login to your existing account
- Review your booking details, enter your payment details and reserve your place.
Once you've paid your advance rent, you will be allocated a room and receive an email with instructions on how to complete the booking process. Please note, there is a 10-day deadline to accept your room offer and sign your licence agreement electronically. Failure to complete your booking may result in your booking being cancelled and you will forfeit your advance rent.
Please note, if your booking is made within 14 days of the licence start date, we reserve the right to reduce the acceptance period to within 48 hours of the licence start date.
